The Andhra Pradesh government has announced its Job Calendar 2026, offering 10,060 government jobs across different departments. The recruitment will be carried out in four phases through agencies including the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), Andhra Pradesh State Level Police Recruitment Board and District Selection Committees.
The Finance Department issued the order on August 22, 2026. The vacancies are spread across 25 departments, including education, police, higher education, engineering, forest and other services.
The government has said that the recruitment process will be conducted in a planned and transparent manner. Minister Nara Lokesh said the state plans to bring out a job calendar every year around Ugadi so that candidates can prepare for government recruitment in advance.

The recruitment will be conducted in four phases.
The first phase has 1,523 posts and was already notified by the Higher Education Department on May 15.
The second phase will have 3,231 posts, with notifications scheduled for September 15. The third phase will cover 2,311 posts, while the fourth phase will have 2,995 posts. Notifications for both phases are scheduled for October 15.

Education and police departments have major share
The School Education Department has the highest number of vacancies, with 3,004 teacher posts to be filled through the District Selection Committee.
The police recruitment includes 2,623 posts. These include 418 Sub-Inspectors, 1,970 constables, 171 jail warders and 64 posts in the Forensic Science Laboratory.
The calendar also includes 1,500 Assistant Professor posts in higher education. APPSC will recruit candidates for 91 Group 1 posts and 750 Group 2 posts, among other positions.
