IP University 2026: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has withdrawn the Spot Round 2 results for several programmes after detecting a technical error in its counselling software. The university found that some candidates had been inadvertently allotted seats during the online counselling process. Following verification, GGSIPU has ordered rechecking and revision of the allotment results in the interest of participating candidates.
The decision affects BCA, BBA, BTech, BCom (Hons) and LLB programmes. The university has also withdrawn the earlier schedule for Spot Round 3 offline counselling, which was scheduled to begin from August 23, 2026. Candidates have been advised to await further updates.

IP University Spot Round 2 Result 2026: Rechecking Ordered
The rechecking of Spot Round 2 online counselling results has been ordered for the following programmes:
- BCA: CET Code 114
- BBA: CET Code 125
- BTech: CET Code 131
- BCom (Hons): CET Code 146
- LLB: CET Code 121
The university took the decision after discrepancies were noticed while verifying candidates and their allotted seats. The revised results will be issued after the rechecking process.
GGSIPU Spot Round 3 Counselling 2026: Schedule Withdrawn
GGSIPU has also withdrawn the earlier Spot Round 3 offline counselling schedule. The round was scheduled to cover BTech, BBA, BCA, BCom (Hons), Lateral Entry BTech, BA English and BA Economics programmes. The counselling was scheduled to begin on August 23.
The university has clarified that the earlier schedule will not be followed and a fresh schedule will be issued. The official PDF also lists a Spot Round 3 schedule dated August 22, but the withdrawal notice supersedes the earlier dates.
