अमेरिकी विदेश मंत्री मार्को रुबियो ने शनिवार को ईरान पर तीखा हमला किया. उन्होंने एक तरह से ये कहने की कोशिश की ईरान की वजह से दुनिया 80 से 100 साल पीछे चली गई है. उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि ईरान की सरकार खुद के लोगों का कत्लेआम करती है. सोचिए कि अगर ऐसी सरकार के हाथ परमाणु हथियार लग गए तो क्या होगा.
ईरान पर अराजकता फैलाने का आरोप
रुबियो ने कहा, “ईरान जहाजों को उड़ा रहा है. इनमें वे जहाज भी शामिल हैं जिन पर भारतीय नाविक सवार हैं, और वे जहाज भी जो उन देशों के लिए ऊर्जा (ईंधन) ले जा रहे हैं, जो उस मेज पर मौजूद हैं. हम एक ऐसी दुनिया में रह रहे हैं जहां एक देश – या यूं कहें कि एक शासन – खुलेआम कह रहा है कि ‘हम कमर्शियल जहाजों को उड़ा देंगे.’ जरा सोचिए! जरा सोचिए कि हम कैसी दुनिया में रह रहे हैं. यह 80 या 100 साल पुरानी बात जैसी लगती है. लेकिन असल में ऐसा ही हो रहा है, और हर देश इससे प्रभावित है.
ईरान से बातचीत पर रुबियो ने रखी बात
रुबियो ने आगे कहा, “जहां तक बातचीत की बात है, तो मुझे नहीं पता कि इसके लिए कोई समय-सीमा तय है या नहीं. इस तरह के फैसले लेना राष्ट्रपति का काम है. कई स्तरों पर बातचीत चल रही है. असल में, बातचीत कभी रुकी ही नहीं. लगातार बातचीत होती रही है – कभी सीधे तौर पर, तो कभी बिचौलियों के जरिए. दुनिया भर में किसी भी चुनौती से निपटने के लिए राष्ट्रपति की प्राथमिकता यही रहती है कि अगर मुमकिन हो, तो उसे कूटनीतिक और शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से सुलझाया जाए.”

In Lebanon, there is instability because Iran supports Hezbollah. Saudi Arabia is under attack because Iran supports the Houthis. Iraq is facing challenges because Iranian-backed militias are challenging the state there. So, wherever you turn, what you find is an Iranian proxy undermining the peace and stability of the Middle East. That’s a fundamental threat that we have to confront. On top of the fact that they want nuclear weapons, this is a regime that has massacred its own people. इसके बाद रुबियो ने डराने वाली बात की, उन्होंने कहा, “वे (ट्रंप) समझते हैं कि दुनिया में कुछ ऐसे मुद्दे हैं जिन्हें – अफसोस की बात है कि – शांतिपूर्ण तरीके से नहीं सुलझाया जा सकता. फिर भी, हमारी कोशिश यही रहेगी कि उन्हें शांति से ही सुलझाया जाए… लेकिन यह एक ऐसा देश और शासन है जो पूरे मध्य पूर्व (मिडिल ईस्ट) में अस्थिरता की जड़ है. लेबनान में अस्थिरता है क्योंकि ईरान हिजबुल्लाह का समर्थन करता है. सऊदी अरब पर हमले हो रहे हैं क्योंकि ईरान हूतियों का समर्थन करता है. इराक चुनौतियों का सामना कर रहा है क्योंकि ईरान समर्थित मिलिशिया वहां की सरकार को चुनौती दे रहे हैं. तो, आप जहां भी नजर डालें, आपको ईरान के प्रॉक्सी (प्रतिनिधि) ही दिखेंगे जो मध्य पूर्व की शांति और स्थिरता को नुकसान पहुंचा रहे हैं. यह एक बहुत बड़ा खतरा है जिसका हमें सामना करना होगा. इसके अलावा, वे परमाणु हथियार भी हासिल करना चाहते हैं. यह एक ऐसा शासन है जिसने अपने ही लोगों का कत्लेआम किया है. आप सोच ही सकते हैं कि अगर इनके हाथ बड़े पैमाने पर तबाही मचाने वाले हथियार लग गए, तो ये दूसरों के साथ क्या करेंगे! लेकिन जब तक राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप व्हाइट हाउस में हैं, तब तक ऐसा कभी नहीं होने दिया जाएगा.”
