The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is expected to announce the UPTET 2026 result soon. More than 2.2 lakh candidates who appeared for the exam are waiting for their scores.
Once declared, the result will be available on the official website, upessc.up.gov.in. Candidates can check their scores by entering their roll number and password.
UPTET 2026 exam details
The UPTET 2026 exam was conducted on July 2, 3 and 4 across centres in all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. The exam was held for both *Paper 1 and Paper 2.
A total of 2,27,481 candidates registered for the exam. Nearly two lakh of them were from outside Uttar Pradesh.
UPESSC released the provisional answer key on July 8. With the answer key process completed, candidates are now waiting for the final result.
UPTET 2026 passing marks
Candidates have to secure the minimum qualifying marks to clear the exam.
- General category: 60 per cent
- Reserved categories: 55 per cent
Those who qualify will receive a UPTET eligibility certificate, which will be valid for a lifetime.
How to check UPTET 2026 result
After the result is announced, candidates can follow these steps:
- Visit the official website, upessc.up.gov.in.
- Click on the UPTET 2026 result link.
- Enter your roll number and password.
- Click on submit.
- Check your result on the screen.
- Download the scorecard and keep a copy for future reference.
Details on UPTET scorecard
The scorecard is expected to mention the candidate’s name, registration number, date of birth, gender, father’s name, category, qualifying status, overall marks and subject-wise marks.
UPESSC had released the exam city information on June 22, followed by the admit card on June 30. Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates on the UPTET 2026 result.
